چکیده
avian pasteurella multocida is an agent of fowl cholera. the protective effect achieved through orthodoxvaccines is not ideal. the research on novel vaccines against avian pasteurella multocida is imperative. inthis study, the genes encoding outer membrane protein h and a (omph and ompa) were cloned into theeukaryotic expression vector pcdna3.1(+) and the recombinant plasmids, namely dna vaccines (pomph andpompa) were obtained. five groups of chickens (n=20 per group) were intramuscularly injected with thetwo recombinant plasmids, attenuated live vaccine, control vector pcdna3.1(+) and pbs, respectively. theimmune responses and protective efficacy were evaluated after immunization by serological and challenging.a significant increase in serum antibody levels was observed in chickens vaccinated with the attenuated livevaccine and the two dna vaccines. additionally, the lymphocyte proliferation (si values) were higher inchickens immunized with the attenuated live vaccine and the two dna vaccines than in those vaccinatedwith pcdna3.1(+) and pbs (p

متن کاملMolecular typing of avian Pasteurella multocida isolates from Iran by PCR-RFLP of OmpH gene
Molecular typing of twenty-five Pasteurella multocida isolates has been assessed by restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) of a species-specific PCR assay. All of the P.multocida isolates were recovered from fowl cholera outbreaks in Northern provinces of Iran. Amplification was based on the gene ompH, encoding a major outer membrane protein (protein H). PCR with ompH primers amplified...
متن کاملCharacterisation of avian Pasteurella multocida strains with PCR-RFLP analysis of the ompH gene.
The 16 somatic serotype type strains and 60 field isolates of Pasteurella multocida, representing various avian species and geographic regions in Hungary, were characterised by PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis of the ompH gene with DraI restriction endonuclease. The type strains yielded eight different (I-VIII) profiles. Strains whose PCR fragment was uncut by Dr...

Evaluation of immunogenicity and protective efficacy of recombinant ptfA of avian Pasteurella multocida
Avian Pasteurella multocida is the causative agent of fowl cholera, a disease much affecting the poultry industry. In order to study the efficacy of the recombinant subunit vaccine constructed with ptfA gene of avian P. multocida, the ptfA gene fragment amplified by PCR from avian P. multocida was cloned into the prokaryotic expression vector pET32a and the recombinant plasmid pET32a-ptfA was o...
